Guess what day this game master was born on?
Halloween.
That explains a lot about me now, right?
People ask if it’s my favorite day of the year because of that double whammy.
I snarl back: “I’m the Scrooge of Halloween!”
Every birthday, I’m besieged by dozens of people pounding at my door. And these people mean serious business with their soldier uniforms, cowboy gunslinger attire, superhero garb, and deadly transforming robot gear.
And EVERY time I open my door there are immediate demands that I must comply with else be subjected to some kind of trick. They don’t even say hello, first! It’s a perpetual Room III.
And should I balk in my compliance during this Night of Sugar-Fuelled Shakedowns, I always see the Big People lurking out there, in the darkness, at the edge of the driveway, waving their flashlights around, beacons for more goblins to join the raid.
Well bah humbug!
As my cursed retribution for this sugary pillaging, I’m raising the price of The Demonplague.
With any luck, future generations will not remember Halloween for its community spirit, a fun way to meet the neighbors, and its huge amount of crafty creativity.
Instead, the world will remember how the diabolical villain, Johnn Four, stole Halloween, and turned all the costume-clad children into NPCs in his never-ending quest for world domination!!!
Get the Demonplague Before It’s Too Late
In truth, we have not adjusted the price of the campaign and all its loot you get with it since launch a few years ago.
And while our vendors have raised transaction and printing fees several times since, we’ve kept our rates the same.
So, unfortunately, the time has come, riding on its broom of bad news.
However, we’re leaving the current price as-is this week, until October 11.
On October 12th, I’ll be raising the prices for the digital and print versions.

Please, I need the extra copper pieces so I can afford pointy candy that I can hurl from atop my battlements.
Last year, my butterscotch drizzle broccoli was just hurled back at me. The ungrateful little fiends are picky!
Cheers,
Johnn
